Founded in 2014 by Kenyetta and Ericka Jones, EIG Services LLC was established with a simple but powerful vision: to create greater opportunities for adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. The name EIG—Empowerment, Independence, and Growth—reflects the values that continue to guide our organization today. Beginning with home and community services in 2015 and our first residential home in Pittsburgh's Greenfield neighborhood, EIG was built on the belief that every individual deserves to be supported in achieving their own goals, making their own choices, and living a life that is meaningful to them.

In November 2021, Martin Johnson was appointed Chief Executive Officer, ushering in a new chapter of growth and innovation for the organization. Under his leadership, EIG has expanded its reach and services throughout Western Pennsylvania and today proudly supports 46 individuals across 33 residential homes. In addition to Residential Services, EIG now provides Community Participation Support, Behavioral Support Services, Lifesharing, and Respite Services, allowing us to offer a comprehensive continuum of person-centered supports that empower individuals to achieve their goals and live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

While EIG has grown significantly since its founding, our mission has remained unchanged. Every decision we make is rooted in our commitment to empowerment, independence, and growth. We believe the best support is built through meaningful relationships, collaboration, and an unwavering focus on each individual's strengths, goals, and aspirations. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to delivering compassionate, professional, and individualized services that make a lasting difference in the lives of the individuals, families, and communities we serve.
