A Message from Our CEO

The work we do at EIG isn't always easy, but it is always meaningful.

Every day, our team supports individuals with unique strengths, goals, and challenges. This work takes patience, compassion, resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping others live meaningful lives. I want to thank our Direct Support Professionals, Program Coordinators, and every member of our team for the exceptional care and support you provide. It is because of your dedication that EIG has been able to grow, expand our services, and have the privilege of supporting more individuals and families throughout our community.

As we've grown, we've recognized the importance of staying connected; not only with one another, but with the individuals, families, and partners who place their trust in us. That's the purpose of this newsletter. It's an opportunity to share what's happening across our agency, celebrate the accomplishments of our team and the individuals we support, highlight new programs and opportunities, and keep everyone informed as we continue moving forward together.

COMPANY UPDATES

Employee Pay Increase

We're excited to announce that effective August 28, all DSPs and PCs will receive a $1.00 per hour pay increase. This increase is a reflection of our appreciation for the dedication, compassion, and hard work our staff demonstrate every day. Thank you for being an essential part of the EIG team. We look forward to continuing to grow together!

Grow Your Career with NADSP Certification

We are encouraging employees to earn NADSP Certification.

The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to advancing the direct support profession. Through competency-based training, DSPs have the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and demonstrate their skills with a nationally recognized certification.

As EIG continues to grow and strengthen the services we provide, we want to support our staff in achieving this nationally recognized certification. To encourage participation, EIG is offering the following incentives:

NADSP Level I Certification – Receive a one-time bonus upon successful completion.
NADSP Level II Certification – Receive a $1.00 per hour pay increase upon successful completion.

New Employee Benefit

We're excited to announce a new benefit for eligible employees! EIG Services now provides a $20,000 employer-paid life insurance policy at no cost to eligible employees.

New Tools Coming to EIG

EIG Services LLC will be implementing an electronic maintenance order system, purchase order system, and expense reimbursement system over the next few weeks. All systems should be available for employee use before the end of September 2026. Before the rollout, training will be conducted, and user guides will be available for employees. These systems are designed to make your daily job more efficient.

Employee Spotlight

Over the past 2 years, Jackie has grown from a DSP to an Operations Manager, but one thing hasn't changed: she's always been someone people can count on. Whether it's jumping in to help an individual in crises, answering a late night phone call, problem solving through a tough situation, or simply checking in on someone who's had a rough day, Jackie shows up.

She leads by example, takes the time to understand people before reacting, and somehow always finds a way to keep everyone laughing, even on the hardest days. Her optimism, compassion, and willingness to help others are just a few of the reasons she's such an important part of the EIG team.
